In December 2024, Maison&Objet Design Factory hosted its first-ever event in Hong Kong, attracting over 15,000 design professionals and enthusiasts. The event, which focused on sustainable innovation and cultural exchange, featured over 120 designers and brands from Asia and Europe. It was organised across five immersive zones, each showcasing groundbreaking sustainable materials and poetic tributes to heritage.
The exhibition highlighted the future of conscious design, with contributions from curators and exhibitors including Qionger Jiang, Les Laureats, Super Normal Design Studio, matériO SAS, Le FRENCH DESIGN, Uchronia World, and Elizabeth Leriche. In addition to the curators, key partners in Hong Kong included the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Maison&Objet Design Factory expressed gratitude to all participants and attendees, describing the event as both inspiring and impactful. The second edition of the event is already being planned for December 2025.
