The trend topping the list is vintage furniture, a favourite of singer Rita Ora. With over 622,000 Google searches, 3.3 million Instagram posts, and 51,600 TikTok hashtags, this style has become the go-to for those seeking a nostalgic yet stylish aesthetic. Rita Ora's own home in London, which features items from Portobello Road Market, is a prime example of how vintage can elevate a living space. The trend is expected to flourish with Pantone's 'Mocha Mousse' colour of the year, which complements the warm tones of vintage pieces.
Window seats, a trend popularised by actress Gwyneth Paltrow in her Montecito residence, come in second. Offering both functionality and comfort, this design element boasts 487,600 Google searches and 1 million Instagram posts. With a high popularity score of 9.39/10, window seats are increasingly being incorporated into homes for their blend of practicality and charm.
In third place, room dividers – a staple in Coco Chanel's various homes – saw nearly 3.7 million Google searches. This versatile trend, combining privacy and decoration, offers creative flexibility for both small and large spaces.
