Ligne Roset is ushering in 2025 with a host of new developments, from groundbreaking product launches to expanded retail presence, while continuing to build on its reputation for elegant, functional design.
One of the standout releases for the year is the Kobold, a versatile new piece designed by Erwan Bouroullec. This multi-functional creation serves as a seat, lounge, side table, and storage unit, designed with a unique form reminiscent of a small room or a boat's deck. The Kobold is available in two versions: the Kobold Soft, a lower, cushion-removable option, and the Kobold Classic, a firmer, more structured sofa. Both options offer flexibility, allowing users to adapt the piece to their needs.
In addition to new products, Ligne Roset has opened a new flagship showroom in New York City. Located at 207 E 57th Street in Midtown East, the 4,000-square-foot space is designed to provide a homely atmosphere that invites visitors to explore Ligne Roset's designs in a comfortable, welcoming environment. This marks the brand's second New York flagship, complementing the recently renovated Park Avenue South location.
The company has also been actively promoting its Everywhere collection, with designer Christian Werner embarking on his Colour Your Life Tour across the West Coast. The tour, which visited Los Angeles and San Francisco, introduced two new colours for the collection—Make-Up and Beige, reflecting the latest trends identified by Francesca Avossa Studio.
Ligne Roset continues to spotlight its popular designs, such as the Prado, designed by Christian Werner. Launched ten years ago, Prado is known for its sleek and flexible design, featuring moveable, non-slip back cushions that allow users to configure it as a modern divan or armless sofa. Its enduring popularity, second only to the iconic Togo, is a testament to its timeless appeal.
The company's efforts have not gone unnoticed in the press, with the Pierre Guariche Collection being featured in T: The New York Times Style Magazine's T List, an editorial selection of coveted products. Ligne Roset's commitment to purpose-driven design was also highlighted in an interview with Antoine Roset, in Azure magazine, where he discussed the company's heritage and its continued evolution in the design world.
As Ligne Roset looks ahead to the rest of 2025, it remains dedicated to producing high-quality, thoughtful designs while expanding its global footprint and solidifying its place at the forefront of the luxury design industry.
