Growing customer interest in this cabinet front style inspired us to create a modern kitchen concept where recessed handles take centre stage as a defining design feature,' says Konstantin, co-founder of Corner.
The Recess collection highlights simplicity and functionality—core principles of Scandinavian design. The cabinet fronts are crafted from Fenix NTM, an advanced acrylic resin known for its ultra-matte finish, soft-touch feel, and anti-fingerprint properties.
'We designed the rectangular cutouts with curved ends to soften the cabinet's appearance and create a balance with the clean lines,' explains Julia, co-founder of Corner. 'At the same time, the exposed plywood edges add warmth and a natural, organic character to the design.'
Designed with practicality in mind, Recess features a kitchen island with six built-in drawers for ample storage. The pantry includes bespoke shelving and integrated appliance storage to keep worktops clutter-free.
Since its inception, Corner has focused on bringing Scandinavian design elements, particularly Danish minimalism, to the European market. 'Convenience and comfort are highly valued in Scandinavian countries,' says Julia. 'We've seen a growing demand for these qualities across Europe, and we're delighted to help bring them to life.'
Recess refines Scandinavian minimalism with thoughtful details and material contrasts. 'The recessed handle is what defines the kitchen's unique character—first through its shape, then through its tactile details,' says Konstantin.
The collection is available in three Fenix NTM colourways: Bianco Male, Grigio Bromo, and Verde Kitami. A consistent design language ensures visual harmony throughout, seamlessly tying the entire kitchen together.
