MCZ enters the HVAC sector

'Thanks to these acquisitions, MCZ will also be able to manage commercial and industrial applications'

MCZ, leading brand in the biomass heating sector, announces a new strategic shift with the acquisition of Sital Klima and SIC, two well-established Italian companies in the HVAC field (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). The new structure will allow MCZ to establish a presence on the market as manufacturer of hybrid heating and cooling systems wholly 'made in Italy' fuelled by 100% renewable energy sources (biomass generators and heat pumps).

Headquarters of MCZ Group, Fontanafredda - Italy.

Founded in 1994 in Mogliano Veneto (Treviso), Sital Klima is active on international markets for air conditioning, ventilation, and air sanitisation in the industrial and residential sector. The ability to adapt products and performance to various application contexts has allowed the company to create tailor-made solutions, meeting over time the most stringent design specifications and users' specific needs. Sital Klima is active in the industrial, retail, HORECA, hospital, pharmaceutical, and residential sectors, offering flexible and state-of-the-art solutions. The main product ranges are heat pumps, air handling units, stand-alone units, thermodynamic heat recovery units, sanitisation machines using the Bioxigen® proprietary technology.

It is active on international markets with prestigious references, including the Armani Hotel (Italy), the Auckland Airport (New Zealand), the Matei Bals Hospital (Romania) and the LSST Astronomical Observatory (Chile).

SIC: integrated heating, air conditioning, and air handling systems
SIC has been operating for over twenty years at its Cologna Veneta (Verona) production facility in the design, production and marketing of conditioning, heating, and air handling machines and units, establishing partnerships with prominent European brands and a significant sales presence on international markets. The product range includes heat recovery units for residential and retail applications, dehumidifiers, high-efficiency heat pumps, air handling units and controlled mechanical ventilation for the residential and industrial sectors.

In 2023 Sital Klima and SIC recorded an overall turnover of nearly 20 million Euro and directly employed 62 people.

Riccardo Zanette, Vice President and CEO of MCZ Group S.p.A.

'Thanks to these acquisitions, MCZ will also be able to manage commercial and industrial applications, offer solutions designed for all seasons, and establish a presence in new international markets. All that by providing ever more integrated and smart innovative solutions,' commented Riccardo Zanette, Vice President and CEO of MCZ Group S.p.A., underlining the strategic impact. 'The products will be entirely made in Italy, following the Group's strategy, which for years now has been investing in Italy and its excellences', continued Zanette.

While retaining its leadership in the biomass sector, MCZ positions itself as a new key player in the HVAC sector by offering a comprehensive solution for environmental comfort using hybrid, 100% "made in Italy", 100% renewable energy systems (biomass generators and heat pumps).
