Delia Lachance, Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Westwing, has outlined the key interior design trends expected to shape 2025, focusing on a blend of calming tones and bold, statement features.
A shift towards "calming earthy tones" such as warm beige and light chocolate will be complemented by bold retro shades like mustard yellow and cobalt blue, creating a balanced yet energetic atmosphere. "Statement lighting" will become a focal point, with chrome finishes and organic, sculptural designs defining spaces.
"Colourful marble" is also set to gain popularity, with a variety of rich greens, deep reds, and striking patterns enhancing interiors. Additionally, "bold silhouettes" inspired by brutalist design will introduce depth and character, blending intentional, structured forms with an approachable aesthetic.
Lachance's insights reflect a move towards designs that bring warmth, vibrancy, and personality into living spaces, combining timeless elegance with contemporary expression.
