UK manufacturer Phoenox Textiles Ltd has taken delivery of three new 25-tonne latex tanks each, as part of a £3.3 million investment in an advanced coating line. This strategic expansion is part of the company's nine-year growth plan aimed at maintaining UK production in Huddersfield. Adrian Charles Mosley reports this on social media.
The new coating line, which is expected to be operational by April 2025, will span an impressive 90 metres and has a construction time of around seven months. With this innovation, Phoenox Textiles aims to strengthen its position in the flooring market by offering a wider range of coatings.
The coating line will be used to apply various materials, including felt, jute and washable rubber coatings. In addition, the company will also focus on special outdoor coatings, further expanding its product range.
