Report reveals top online bed and mattress brands in the UK

A new report from Salience Search Marketing has identified the most prominent brands in the UK's online beds and mattresses sector, based on online visibility, brand searches, and social media engagement.

The report analysed 11 key performance indicators, including year-on-year visibility, search volume trends, and brand awareness, to determine market leaders. The findings reveal that The Cotswold Company ranks as the most prominent brand, with "90,500" monthly brand searches and an owned social score of "770".

Dusk matches The Cotswold Company in monthly searches but holds a slightly lower social score of "678". Dreams records the highest monthly brand searches at "246,000" but has a lower social score of "212". Bensons for Beds follows with "135,000" monthly searches and a social score of "145", while Graham and Green secures a spot in the top five with "40,500" searches and a "477" social score.

Other leading brands include Silentnight, which sees "33,000" monthly searches and a social score of "255", and Tempur, with "9900" searches and a social score of "849". Emma Sleep records "8100" searches with a social score of "692", while Premier Inn Bed, known for its hotel mattresses, achieves "4400" searches and a strong social score of "895". Simba Sleep rounds out the top 10 with "5400" searches and a social score of "616".

Brett Janes, MD at Salience Search Marketing, stated that "The Cotswold Company leads in online brand awareness," but added that competition remains strong, with several brands showing high search demand. He emphasised the importance of brands adapting to consumer needs and improving the shopping experience to maintain their market position.
