Kuka Home has announced that its 624,000-square-foot factory will be fully operational in March, bringing its total manufacturing space in Vietnam to 4.7 million square feet. The expansion aims to meet "unprecedented demand" from North American customers, following a "record-breaking" 26% growth rate by the end of 2024.

The facility will increase production capacity by 30% and create approximately 1,300 jobs in the local community. Company officials emphasised that 'strong customer partnerships and a dedicated team across product development, sales and marketing' were key drivers of the expansion.

Matt Harrison, president of Kuka Home North America, stated that the company remains committed to 'meeting customer demand and delivering exceptional quality.' In addition to the Vietnam expansion, the company plans to launch a major new manufacturing facility in another Asian country in early 2026, aiming to "solidify" its global footprint.

Founded in 1982, Kuka Home has its world headquarters in Hangzhou, China, and its U.S. headquarters and showroom in High Point. The company operates over 10 global furniture factories, including mattress and mechanism production facilities, as well as design research centres in China, Vietnam, Mexico, and High Point.
