The store, operated by Mömax, aims to provide affordable and stylish home furnishings. The reopening has also contributed to local employment, creating 10 new jobs and five apprenticeships.

To mark the occasion, an opening event will take place, featuring special offers and a guest appearance by Bruce Darnell on 21 February. The American choreographer and television personality, known for his work on "Germany's Next Top Model" and "Das Supertalent," will engage with visitors at a meet-and-greet session. On 22 February, a lifestyle lounge event will offer additional entertainment.

Mömax follows a business model centred on stylish yet budget-friendly furniture. The showroom provides inspiration for various living spaces, from kitchens to bathrooms, complemented by home accessories that reflect current trends. Customers also benefit from in-store design consultations, 3D planning services, and professional delivery and assembly options.

The company has experienced rapid expansion since its founding in 2002. It now operates 116 stores across nine European countries, including Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Switzerland, with further expansion projects planned for 2025. Mömax also runs online shops in multiple countries, integrating digital and physical retail experiences.

According to Mömax spokesperson Thomas Saliger, the company prioritises affordability while maintaining a focus on innovative and stylish interior solutions. He stated that the brand remains committed to in-store shopping, recognising the role of physical locations in providing customer service and employment opportunities.
