Belgium is Design returns to Milan Design Week 2025 with "Woven Whispers"

Belgium is Design announces its return to Milan Design Week 2025 with Woven Whispers, an exhibition highlighting the richness of Belgian textile design. From 7 to 13 April, 17 Belgian designers and design studios will present their innovative textile creations at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, as part of the renowned ALCOVA exhibition.

The exhibition honours Belgian textile history and showcases a wide range of works: from artisanal, handmade pieces to industrially produced textile objects for large-scale distribution. Woven Whispers is all about warmth, comfort and connectedness, qualities that are central to the selected designs.

Participating designers and studios include: Amandine David, Amandine Fabry, Charlotte Lancelot, Emma Cogné, Emma Terweduwe, Esther Van Schuylenbergh, Kato Herbots, La Gadoue, Minjung Kim, Morevi, Mathilde Wittock, Natalia Brilli, Rosie Broadhead, Sarah Carestia, Stefanie Everaerts and Xavier Servas. A special project by Juraj Straka, in collaboration with French Ibride, will also be on display.

The exhibition can be visited daily from 11:00 to 19:00.
