From building bricks to kitchen cabinets: ex-LEGO top man becomes CEO of Kvik

Danish kitchen manufacturer Kvik has appointed a former LEGO Group board member as its new CEO from 1 February 2025. Flyger Pejstrup has more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles and is determined to grow Kvik further in his new position.

Claus Flyger Pejstrup takes over as CEO of Kvik. He succeeds Jens-Peter Poulsen, who stepped down in autumn 2024 after 12 years. 'I come to the helm of a strong and professional organisation that has more than earned its place in the Danish design market, despite the challenging years in the kitchen industry. I look forward to working with the team to further realise our ambitions for Kvik.'

Flyger Pejstrup has had an impressive career, with previous roles as CEO of the customer division of telecoms company Norlys and as a board member at LEGO Group. Here, he played a key role in the global expansion of physical shops and the acceleration of the e-commerce arm. 'People seek experiences, both in shops and online. The interaction between the two is crucial for a strong customer experience. I look forward to developing this further together with our franchisees and other stakeholders,' said Flyger Pejstrup.
