Pedrali, the renowned Italian furniture brand, returns to the Workspace Design Show, the UK's premier event dedicated to the future of workspaces. This marks Pedrali's third participation in the exhibition, taking place on 26-27 February at the Business Design Centre in London. The company presents its latest collections at stand B40, offering a vision of workspaces that are agile, dynamic, and functional.
Pedrali's exhibition space is defined by natural, earthy tones, creating a neutral backdrop that enhances the vibrant hues of its products. The brand envisions modern offices as cultural hubs that encourage collaboration, creativity, and learning, with ergonomics playing a central role. 'Furniture must be adjustable and equipped with state-of-the-art mechanisms to adapt to the user, ensuring comfort and giving individuals control over their workspace,' Pedrali affirms.
At the heart of the display is the Rizz Workstation, designed by Robin Rizzini. This versatile workstation system, available in two-, four-, or eight-seater configurations, features a structural aluminium frame concealed beneath the tabletop to ensure aesthetic lightness and maximum stability. An integrated cable management system allows for sound-absorbing screens, while an optional LED lighting system recalls the design of classic library tables. The upper section can also serve as a holder for plants or small objects.
Surrounding the Rizz Workstation are the Laja 2 armchairs, designed by Alessandro Busana. These chairs feature soft, organic forms with an injected polyurethane foam seat and a flexible, welcoming backrest. Also on display is the Ypsilon Connect, a freestanding sound-absorbing partition panel by Jorge Pensi Design Studio. This versatile panel can accommodate accessories such as whiteboards, shelves, or coat hangers, and can also be wired to support a TV screen holder.
Pedrali also highlights the evolution of office environments with the Buddy collection by Busetti Garuti Redaelli. The Buddy Oasi system includes generously sized ottomans and sofas with movable, organically shaped backrests, offering flexibility in layout. The Buddyhub, featuring a sound-absorbing panel that creates a quiet, enclosed workspace, is paired with the Diego functional laptop table by Jorge Pensi Design Studio. The table's die-cast aluminium base and extruded aluminium stem ensure durability while maintaining an elegant aesthetic. Complementing this setup are the Caementum monoblock coffee tables by Marco Merendi & Diego Vencato.
Lounge and waiting areas are reimagined with an emphasis on comfort and relaxation. The Lamorisse lounge & sofa, designed by CMP Design, features a solid ash wood frame contrasted with a soft, enveloping cushion. The Héra Lounge, designed by Patrick Jouin, balances lightness with comfort and elegance, with a curved solid wood backrest and sculptural frame. Completing the scene is the Blume table by Sebastian Herkner, distinguished by an extruded aluminium column with a flower-shaped profile.
Further enhancing workspace functionality, Pedrali introduces the Buddyhub Sideboard, a versatile storage solution with a sound-absorbing panel that doubles as a space divider. The Hevea partition by Victoria Azadinho Bocconi integrates greenery into workspaces, offering a flexible and aesthetic way to separate areas.
Pedrali's presence at the Workspace Design Show underscores its commitment to redefining modern offices, ensuring that they are not just places of work but spaces for creativity, collaboration, and wellbeing.
