3daysofdesign, the renowned design festival in Copenhagen, is set to return in 2025 with a fresh and dynamic approach. This year's theme, "KEEP IT REAL," emphasises individual expression and personal experiences, aligning with a growing desire for a more inclusive, caring, and conscious world. The festival aims to provide a platform for diverse voices, cultures, and perspectives through its curated showcases.
The festival will take place across Copenhagen's vibrant design landscape, with eight new designated Design Districts offering a variety of exhibitions, installations, and events. Known for its blend of historic charm and modern innovation, Copenhagen provides the perfect setting for discovering groundbreaking design concepts — from avant-garde to iconic. Participating venues include galleries, museums, showrooms, mansions, and even boats, featuring an array of design from both Danish and international creators.
Explore out eight new design districts
This year's festival has expanded its scope with the introduction of eight Design Districts, each reflecting a unique aspect of the "KEEP IT REAL" theme. These districts offer visitors the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of designers, makers, and thought-leaders, some unveiling their work for the first time. Attendees will experience everything from innovative design to artisanal craftsmanship in one of the world's most dynamic design capitals.
New symbol and meeting points to connect to festival goers
In an effort to enhance the visitor experience, 3daysofdesign has introduced i-Points—central meeting hubs located in each Design District. These i-Points will provide information, inspiration, and an opportunity for visitors to connect with others while exploring the festival. Dedicated District Managers and the inaugural Design Ambassadors will be on hand to assist attendees throughout the event.
A new symbol, created in collaboration with brand agency e-Types and designer Thomas Lykke of OEO Studio, will guide attendees through the city. This visual cue will help festival goers navigate the various events and locations seamlessly.
