Pierre-Yves Rochon is a special guest at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025

From 8th to 13th April, the 63rd edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano confirms the Fair's cultural commitment with new storytelling projects that explore the world of design through contemporary codes of expression. Pavilions 13-15 will host a site-specific installation by French architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, global leader in luxury interior design for 40+ years.

With the work of his namesake studio, Rochon has transformed restaurants, hotels, and private residences into timeless spaces. His many famous projects include the prestigious interiors of renowned hotel chains such as Four Seasons, Ritz, Fairmont, and Waldorf Astoria, as well as restaurants for Michelin-star chefs like Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse.

'Legacy is not a constraint; it is a source of freedom. Understanding and mastering the legacy of our craft gives us the tools to reinvent and push the boundaries of design.' - Pierre-Yves Rochon

Villa Héritage, as the installation is titled, promotes dialogue between past and future as an engine for dynamic and innovative design culture, introducing a new exhibition itinerary in pavilions 13 and 15: A Luxury Way, focused on Italy's signature ability to create timeless objects.

The installation takes shape in a space that blends design, art and culture, creating a conversation between memory and innovation. Elegant and timeless, Villa Héritage redefines interior design and elevates luxury above the merely aesthetic dimension, turning it into a multisensorial experience.

The square-floor plan structure invites to reflection, with each room representing a chapter in a story: from the cinematic light of a clean room, to the green landscape of the winter garden, to the Italian opera house in the red hall, to the plum-coloured library. The musical patio where the Alpange piano is placed represents the beating heart of shared emotions, making Villa Héritage a celebration of both cultural legacy and innovation.

Accessible from East Gate: via Quick Link located on Ponte dei Mari or dedicated shuttle at the entrance.
