Sanderson florals reimagined for Moschino at Milan Fashion Week

Sanderson's floral designs took centre stage at Milan Fashion Week as the British interiors brand collaborated with Italian fashion powerhouse Moschino for its Fall/Winter 2025 show. The partnership brought a fresh perspective to some of Sanderson's most recognisable patterns, blending heritage with high fashion in a bold new interpretation.

'Legacy blooms met a Moschino twist, a true embodiment of heritage reimagined,' stated Sanderson. The collaboration saw a selection of classic prints transformed through innovative design and contemporary palettes, reinforcing the timeless appeal of Sanderson's floral artistry.

Among the featured designs was Etchings & Roses, originally inspired by rare and beautifully engraved prints from Mulhouse. Moschino introduced a playful element by incorporating aeroplanes into the design and recolouring it in fresh, striking palettes. 'Landing on the runway never looked so stylish,' Sanderson noted.

Another highlight was Stapleton Park, a beloved pattern created by Pat Etheridge in the 1990s. Featuring bouquets of roses, foxgloves, and hydrangeas, the design was given a whimsical touch with hidden faces appearing within the flowers. Sanderson celebrated its inclusion in the show, stating that the pattern had been brought 'to the front row of fashion.'

Completing the collection was Grandiflora, a bold and modern take on magnolias. Moschino's adaptation enhanced the design's texture and tones, making the blooms appear even more vivid and enchanting. 'Magnolias steal hearts and minds in Grandiflora, made new in beguiling colour from the fashion house,' Sanderson remarked.

This collaboration marks a fusion of classic British design with avant-garde Italian fashion, demonstrating the enduring influence of Sanderson's iconic patterns in the world of contemporary style.
