The Wallfashion House: 20 million rolls of wallcoverings in more than 1,000 designs every year

Tielt-based company Grandeco, part of parent company The Wallfashion House, continues to have a strong profile in the wallcovering sector. Under the leadership of CEO Patrick Molemans, the company has developed into the largest European player in this sector. The Wallfashion House employs more than 600 people across ten sites in Europe, including its production facility in Tielt.

The company annually produces 20 million rolls of wallcoverings in more than 1,000 different designs, accounting for a turnover of around EUR 150 million. The Wallfashion House is partly owned by private equity groups GIMV and Down2Earth Capital, with management as a minority shareholder.

'Driven by our shareholders, who took the helm in 2020, a double path forward was chosen,' CEO Patrick Molemans tells Made in West Flanders. 'One: to be a leader in wall decoration, which is more than just wallpaper. Two: to play a leading role when it comes to consolidation.'
