Marking its 20th anniversary, L'Objet has chosen Sloane Street—the newly transformed heart of Chelsea—for its first London flagship. Since its founding by creative director Elad Yifrach, the brand has gained a devoted following for its sculptural tableware, intricate decorative objects, and apothecary essentials that feel as indulgent as they look.
The boutique itself is a masterpiece. Designed by Yifrach alongside Anno Mille, the LA-based design studio known for its fusion of Mediterranean influences with contemporary luxury, it blends modern materials—bronze, limestone, and rich velvet—with striking sculptural elements.
L'Objet's Sloane Street boutique is an exercise in quietly assured opulence. At its heart, a stainless steel-clad column rises from a base of cast bronze chain plated in antique nickel—industrial, but make it exquisite.
A custom fragrance island, crafted from limestone, stainless steel, and chocolate-toned lacquer, serves as a centrepiece that's as sculptural as it is functional. Walls and shelving in cognac velvet wrap the space in warmth, while a chocolate mohair sofa adds a layer of indulgence.
And then there's the pièce de résistance: a 24K hand-gilded metal art piece, created in collaboration with Portuguese artisan Sebastião Lobo, standing as both focal point and conversation starter—only available here.
The boutique also embraces L'Objet's signature fluidity, from curvaceous shelving to sculptural tables carved in Bianco Real Portuguese limestone. A state-of-the-art lighting system casts a soft, celestial glow, while textured terrazzo flooring and bespoke sconces underscore the brand's commitment to impeccable craftsmanship.
Spanning 1,300 square feet, the new store offers an immersive take on the brand's world. Towering black metal doors lead into a space where cognac velvet, limestone, and bronze create an atmosphere of understated opulence, further enhanced by bespoke furniture and a curated selection of L'Objet's most coveted designs.
Alongside its signature home décor, tableware, and fragrance collections, the boutique will house exclusive designs only available here. It's a fitting arrival on Sloane Street, which recently completed a £46-million regeneration to reaffirm its status as one of London's most luxurious destinations.
