Jeremiah Brent criticises popular home trends

Jeremiah Brent, interior designer and Queer Eye star, shared his thoughts on some popular home trends he finds outdated. In a recent interview with Dream Baby Press, he listed several home fixtures he dislikes, offering an insightful look into his design preferences.

Among his major criticisms were ceiling fans, which he described as "eyesores." According to Brent, ceiling fans often dominate the room's aesthetic and make the space feel smaller. He also expressed disdain for pony walls, or half-walls, which are used as space dividers but often appear outdated and unnecessary.

Additionally, Brent voiced his frustration with pampas grass as décor, calling it impractical due to its tendency to collect dust and its space-consuming nature. He remarked that he's 'completely over the trend' and believes such grasses are better suited outdoors.

Despite his strong opinions, Brent's list also included positive mentions, such as his love for discovering antique stores and his passion for pottery.
