In anticipation of Euroluce 2025, the Salone del Mobile.Milano presents a selection of five global events that celebrate the fusion of art, light, and sustainability. From immersive digital installations to ancient lantern rituals, these events reflect diverse interpretations of light as both a creative medium and a symbol of progress.
Solar Biennale | Lausanne, Switzerland
Founded in 2020 by Marjan van Aubel and Pauline van Dongen, the Solar Biennale explores the role of solar energy in art and design, championing it as the most human and sustainable energy source. The upcoming edition, held at Mudac in Lausanne from 19 to 21 March 2025, will feature international artists creating solar-powered installations. The accompanying exhibition, "Soleil·s," will run until 21 September 2025.
