Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA) has appointed Peter Spencer, former managing director of Electrolux UK, as its new MD.

Spencer brings extensive industry experience, having also served as European vice president of after market services and European vice president of direct-to-consumer at Electrolux. GDHA stated that his expertise in "building strong customer partnerships, improving profitability, and enhancing consumer experience" makes him an ideal choice to lead the company.
The appointment aligns with GDHA's strategy to strengthen its commercial focus, prioritise retail partnerships, and enhance consumer engagement through innovation.
Spencer expressed enthusiasm for his new role, stating, 'We have an ambitious vision for Glen Dimplex Home Appliances. It prioritises the branded consumer product experience and journey in every decision we make, from design and functionality through to the after market experience, and recognises the vital retail partner relationships required.'
