The company, previously known as L & J Furniture, has reverted to its founding name, Harrison Brothers (Furniture) Ltd. The decision aims to realign the brand with its heritage, as the original Harrison Brothers (Furniture) Ltd was established in 1979.
In a joint statement, directors Liam Randell and Jane Harrison expressed their enthusiasm for the change, stating that the company was built on the foundations of its predecessor and that the rebranding reflects its long-term vision. They emphasised that while the name is changing, the business itself remains "fundamentally unaffected." All existing contracts with customers and suppliers will continue under the new name, with no alterations to the company's legal status or office address.
The company highlighted its commitment to maintaining strong customer relationships through "exceptional delivery lead times and competitive prices," which it credits for its sustained success in the market.
