Wayfair Inc. has announced the location of its second large-format store, set to open in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2026. The 150,000-square-foot store will provide a comprehensive shopping experience, offering furniture, home décor, housewares, appliances, and home improvement essentials.

Liza Lefkowski, vice president of merchandising and stores at Wayfair, stated, 'At the heart of our retail strategy is our commitment to providing customers with a seamless shopping experience, whether online or in-store.' She added that the store would feature an extensive selection across all styles and budgets.
The decision follows the success of Wayfair's first large-format store, which opened in Wilmette, Illinois, in May 2024. The Wilmette location reportedly contributed to sales growth in Illinois exceeding the U.S. average by more than 15% through the end of 2024. Lefkowski described customer enthusiasm as "incredible," with shoppers even travelling from neighbouring states to visit.
Located at 1801 Howell Mill Rd NW within The District at Howell Mill shopping centre, the Atlanta store is positioned in the city's Upper Westside, offering easy access to Buckhead, Midtown, and downtown Atlanta. Its proximity to Wayfair's McDonough, Georgia, fulfilment centre will enable fast delivery for larger items like sofas, while many products will be available for immediate purchase.
The lease was negotiated by Fraser Gough and Benton Green of Retail Planning Corporation. The property is owned by JLL Income Property Trust, in partnership with Selig Enterprises, a family-owned real estate development company.
