An upholstered furniture manufacturer has entered a structured restructuring process under self-administration following financial difficulties. The move comes after the home furniture division of the Schröder/Schröno Group filed for insolvency last year and was subsequently wound up.
Schröno Polstermöbelfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Delbrück, has confirmed that business operations will continue without restrictions throughout the restructuring. The process is being supported by restructuring specialists from the Willmerköster law firm, while Dr. Yorck T Streitbörger has been appointed as provisional administrator.
In a letter to suppliers, the management assured that the shareholder family remains committed to the company and will provide financial support. Payment commitments for all supplier orders made as of 11 March 2025 have been secured, ensuring continued operations and supply availability.
The restructuring is described as a strategic step to ensure long-term competitiveness and strengthen the business model.
