"Franchise Expo Paris" reports record attendance at latest edition

The 43rd edition of "Franchise Expo Paris" recorded 32,282 visitors, marking a 2% increase from 2024. Organisers described the event as "exceptional" and highlighted its growing significance in the franchise industry. The number of franchise networks in France continues to rise, reaching 2,089 in 2024, according to the French Franchise Federation (FFF).

Held at the "Paris Expo" exhibition centre at Porte de Versailles, the event featured over 150 conferences, workshops, and pitches. More than 7,500 visitors attended these sessions, where key industry figures shared their experiences. Innovation was a major focus, with the introduction of new spaces such as "Meet & Speak" and "The Village of Territorial Attractiveness." Additionally, 73 industry experts provided guidance on financing and business creation, while 50 cities and territories participated in the new "Territorial Attractiveness" platform, designed to connect entrepreneurs, brands, and local economies.

Véronique Discours-Buhot, General Delegate of the FFF, emphasised the significance of the new Territorial Attractiveness Village, stating that it helps drive economic stability in city centres. She described franchising as "a real driving role" in strengthening local commerce and revitalising urban areas.

Sylvie Gaudy, the event's director, praised the "tremendous momentum of franchising" and noted the increasing presence of a new generation of entrepreneurs. She stated that franchising is now 'a vector for the positive transformation of our society.'

The next edition of "Franchise Expo Paris" is scheduled for March 2026.
