His sociability and empathy in dealing with customers, business partners, and colleagues were the qualities that defined Gerd Bissinger. Full of drive and with his passion for furniture, he moved in 1992 from southern Bavaria, where he worked at himolla, to Upper Franconia to join Koinor as Sales Director, Managing Director, and eventually as Managing Partner, he coined and guided the company alongside Michael Schulz for decades.

Under their leadership, the company was developed into one of the most innovative and significant manufacturers in the upholstered furniture industry, and in the end, he could look back on his life's work with pride.
