A kitchen manufacturer has received certification recognising its commitment to responsible wood sourcing. The certification highlights the company's efforts to ensure that the materials used in its products meet stringent sustainability standards.
Uno Form, part of Nobia AB, has achieved full FSC certification. The manufacturer utilises solid wood for slats, drawers, and cabinet frames. According to the company, using responsibly sourced wood aligns with its dedication to protecting nature and global forests.
Peter Bisgaard, Brand Director at Uno Form, stated that the company's commitment to sustainable practices stems from its passion for working with wood. He emphasised that the company phased out the use of rainforest wood over two decades ago and, for the past five years, has exclusively used responsibly traded wood.
The manufacturer has observed growing consumer demand for greater responsibility, both in terms of material sourcing and the quality and longevity of design. The new certification aligns with these expectations, further reinforcing the company's commitment to sustainable practices.
