Geberit has once again been awarded the gold medal from EcoVadis for its sustainability work, placing the company among the top 5% of the 150,000 evaluated companies.
The gold medal from EcoVadis is the second-highest award, demonstrating that Geberit works solidly and with a long-term approach to sustainability.
What is EcoVadis?
Founded in 2007, EcoVadis is now one of the world's largest providers of sustainability assessments, having evaluated over 150,000 companies globally.
EcoVadis assesses companies across 250 industries in more than 185 countries. The evaluation focuses on 21 criteria within four areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for companies, as more customers demand that their suppliers report on their sustainability efforts. EcoVadis helps create transparency and a basis for comparison for customers.
