Maison&Objet has announced a renewal edition set to take place in September 2025, marked by a new artistic direction and a focus on contemporary design. Amelie Pichard, known for her bold and eclectic style, will serve as Artistic Director. Pichard's approach combines craftsmanship with a modern twist, promoting sustainability while challenging traditional norms. Her vision seeks to transform objects into 'manifestos of creativity and independence'.
The event will feature a restructured format, comprising six clearly defined sectors for an intuitive visitor experience. The "Design District" will highlight emerging talent, including initiatives such as Future On Stage, the Rising Talent Awards, and Maison&Objet Factory. The platform aims to support young creators from architectural studios, publishing houses, and new decoration brands.
Paris Design Week will coincide with the fair, turning the city into a hub of creativity, with over 130 emerging designers participating. Talks addressing contemporary design challenges will also be featured.
Amelie Pichard's "Welcome Home" installation will explore the evolving relationship between craft and technology, encouraging visitors to 'follow their intuition' and 'dare to be different'.
Maison&Objet invites design enthusiasts and professionals to attend from 4 to 8 September 2025. Tickets are available on the official website.
