Duvivier Canapés announces its participation in the Milan Design Week 2025 as part of LABÒ, now in its third edition. The event will take place in the former industrial spaces of the Fondazione Rodolfo Ferrari and SPA - Società Prodotti Antibiotici, located in the Barona district on the outskirts of Milan.
From Sunday, 6 April to Friday, 11 April 2025, the venue at Via Biella 6 will host a curated selection of designers, artists, and creators, chosen by The Design Blender, the creative duo of Elsa Lemarignier and François Leblanc di Cicilia. During this prestigious event, Duvivier Canapés will unveil three collaborative projects that embody the brand's core values: Heritage, Transmission, Innovation, and Excellence in Handcrafted French Design.
A historic collaboration with Mobilier National
Duvivier Canapés has joined forces with Mobilier National to honour the legacy of renowned French designer Joseph-André Motte. Together, they present the S3T4 collection, originally designed by Motte in 1967. Rediscovered in Mobilier National's archives, the collection features an innovative and timeless aesthetic, consisting of four modular elements: a seating module and three coffee table modules. This versatile design allows for a wide range of configurations.
This remarkable partnership bridges heritage expertise and luxury craftsmanship, showcasing the enduring relevance of French design. As Dick Spierenburg, Creative Director of idd cologne, stated:
'Durability goes hand in hand with a passion for design, beauty and quality. Our industry faces the task of actively shaping interior design so that these values are reflected in holistic concepts.'
The fusion of tradition and innovation with Lelièvre
Duvivier Canapés has also collaborated with Maison Lelièvre, uniting two historic French design houses that share a commitment to craftsmanship and elegance. Under the creative vision of Guillaume Hinfray, Artistic Director at Duvivier Canapés, and Ingrid Lager, Creative Director at Lelièvre, the exhibit will feature a museum-like setting where materials and colours harmoniously coexist.
Among the highlights is the reissue of the iconic SF103 lounge chair, originally designed by Michel Mortier in 1953. This limited and numbered edition pays homage to the brand's legacy, merging past and present. Additionally, the collection will feature the ARSÈNE collection by Guillaume Hinfray, offering a bold contemporary twist, alongside the BARBARA collection by interior designer Jean-Philippe Nuel.

A modern take on comfort: The Barbara Collection
The Barbara collection introduces a new interpretation of the classic "club" chair, blending femininity, modernity, and timeless comfort. Designed to be viewed from all angles, the rounded form invites exploration, while the integrated backrest and armrests allow for tactile interaction with fabric or leather.
Initially designed for a New York hotel project, the Barbara bridge chair is accompanied by a bench, banquette, and ottoman. The collection now features in prestigious settings, including the Château d'Artigny and the Crest Collection hotel by Ascott in Paris. It will soon be showcased in the new Jeanne & Paul Suite at the Negresco Hotel in Nice.
Duvivier Canapés' presence at Milan Design Week highlights the brand's commitment to preserving French craftsmanship while embracing innovation and contemporary design. For more information, visit the official website or join the event at Via Biella 6, Milan.
