Furniture company acquisition strengthens presence in Jutland

A Danish company has announced the acquisition of a furniture business to enhance its position in Northwest Jutland's professional interior design market. The move aims to expand its presence in the office furniture sector by integrating the newly acquired company's local expertise and product range.

The acquired business, Vines Erhvervsmøbler, is known for supplying interior design solutions and producing furniture under the ScanDesign brand. Established in 1998, the company will retain its name and existing employees, while gaining three additional staff members from the acquiring company.

The new owner, Redoffice Konpap, specialises in office supplies and office furniture. The acquisition is part of its strategy to grow in the furniture area and strengthen its ability to deliver customised, high-quality solutions at competitive prices. Klaus Sørensen, CEO of Redoffice Konpap, stated that the acquisition allows them to 'serve customers better in the future' and aligns with their company values.

John Vine, Carsten Hauge, and Michael Bak, who currently own Vines Erhvervsmøbler, will continue to be involved in the business. Sørensen will take on the role of CEO for the combined operations.

The acquisition reflects a strategic effort to enhance market reach and offer tailored solutions to professional clients in the region, reinforcing the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
