BoConcept Thailand Unveils Largest flagship in Southeast Asia, blending Danish design with celebrity style

BoConcept Thailand has officially opened its third and largest flagship store in Southeast Asia, located in Bangkok's upscale Thonglor district, in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Operated by Index Living Mall (ILM), the new store delivers an immersive Danish design experience, combining timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary, personalised approach to home living.

The flagship, housed within the DécorScape building, features curated zones for Living, Dining, Bedroom, Outdoor, and Home Office collections. Shoppers can customise their furnishings with over 120 premium fabric and leather options from Denmark and Italy, all OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. Additional features include a 'Designer Hub' for professionals and a dedicated Material Zone for bespoke configurations.

'BoConcept is a globally renowned furniture brand, celebrated for its distinctive design, craftsmanship, and quality rooted in Danish tradition,' said Ms. Kridchanok Patamasatayasonthi, Managing Director of Index Living Mall PCL. 'This flagship—the largest in Southeast Asia—offers an immersive design experience. Customers can personalise their living spaces... We also offer expert consultation and 3D design services to help bring each customer's vision to life.'

Helena Christensen, BoConcept's newly appointed Global Artistic Director, now leads the brand's creative direction under the theme "The Art of Living Danishly"—a concept championing refined simplicity, modern comfort, and sustainable living.

BoConcept CEO Mr. Mikael Kruse Jensen added: 'BoConcept is a premium Danish furniture brand founded in 1952 by Jens Ærthøj Jensen and Tage Mølholm, two Danish carpenters who infused every piece with Danish design DNA under the concept "LIVE STYLE, LIVE EKSTRAORDINÆR"… Our designs go beyond everyday functionality—they are crafted as art pieces that elevate any living space... Every showroom is thoughtfully designed to inspire... creating an immersive atmosphere that sparks ideas for living beautifully in the Danish style.'

To mark the store's grand opening, several well-known Thai personalities shared how BoConcept reflects their personal design tastes.

Preedakorn 'Bank' Metkriengchai of tailoring brand RAMS said: 'My favourite pieces are the Imola Chair and the Santiago Round Table. The chair's bold, curved lines captivated me instantly... The table... serves as the heart of the home—bringing people together with its clean design and versatility.'

Businessman Tarm Chamnongarsa added: 'What I love about BoConcept is its simplicity paired with strong design identity... The Salamanca Sofa's white modular design... brings warmth to the living room... The Santiago Round Table is another standout... with subtle curves and hidden details that add character.'

Fashion designer Pitchaya 'Donut' Songskulchai shared: 'The Sweet Art collection is a favourite because it blends Danish design with warm, hygge-inspired charm... pastel tones and clean, simple designs... add a cozy warmth to any home.'

The event also featured signature cocktails inspired by BoConcept's furniture, including the Imola Sprite, Santiago SERENO, and Salamanca Light Floating—each echoing the brand's design ethos in sensory form.

Exclusive Launch Offer: An extra 5% discount is available with participating credit cards until 30 April 2025.
