New warehouse for UK furniture wholesaler signals next phase of expansion

A UK furniture wholesaler has secured a new warehouse facility as it prepares for further operational growth and increasing demand in the e-commerce sector.

Aspire Furniture has signed a three-year lease on a 56,400sqft unit located at Copperworks 2 on Haigh Park Road in Stourton, Leeds. The facility, owned by Towngate PLC, will significantly increase the company's warehousing capacity and improve logistical efficiency due to its proximity to Aspire's nearby manufacturing site.

The unit includes a 9.5-metre working height, ground-level loading bays, secure gated access, and ample parking and loading space. These features are expected to streamline operations and strengthen both wholesale and direct-to-consumer services.

The company said the move would 'expand our operations and enhance our warehousing capacity to support the next stage of our growth – particularly in the e-commerce market'.

Ben Dobson, operations director at Aspire Furniture, described the relocation as a "significant step forward", adding that it would help the business "offer an even better experience in the online furniture market". He also noted that the site's close location to its manufacturing hub would "enhance the quality and customer service we're already so renowned for".

Tom Lamb, property director at Towngate PLC, said the Copperworks site's strong transport connections across Yorkshire and nearby cities made it ideal for Aspire's operations. He added that the warehouse is "perfectly suited to support the company's expanding stock levels and both direct-to-consumer and wholesale operations".

The move marks a key milestone for Aspire as it continues to scale up its operations and strengthen its position within the UK's competitive furniture market.
