Pedrali, the Italian design furniture manufacturer, unveils its latest creations at the 63rd edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano (8–13 April 2025), marking its 36th participation at the world's most influential design fair. With nine new collections, including two lighting innovations, the exhibition, titled #PedraliShiftingPerspectives, showcases the company's signature craftsmanship across 1000 sqm of immersive architecture designed by DWA Design Studio.
Inspired by the Case Study Houses Program, the stand in Hall 24 (D30–D38) presents a "fluid and dynamic" layout that blends indoor and outdoor spaces through geometric structures, partition walls and an ambient green design. '#PedraliShiftingPerspectives invites you to discover a succession of indoor and outdoor spaces in warm tones inspired by the colours of earth,' the company says.
Among the standout pieces is Opale by Patrick Jouin, a soft, organic armchair with "a fluid and accurately balanced design." Its signature feature is "the functional handle integrated into the rear of the backrest," which enhances its sculptural form. It pairs with the Frank table by Robin Rizzini, a finalist in the ADI Design Index 2024 and in contention for the Compasso d'Oro 2026.
Lighting innovations debut at Euroluce 2025, held concurrently with Salone. Kawara, created with Japanese designer Yusuke Kawai, is named after traditional Japanese roof tiles and is offered in pendant, horizontal, vertical, and floor versions. Pedrali states, 'What makes this product very versatile is the option to choose between a single continuous element in extruded aluminium... or adjustable modules... creating a more playful effect.' Also launching is Filicudi, a rechargeable indoor-outdoor lamp by Andrea Pedrali, which doubles as a watertight flower vase during charging.
Outdoor collections include Lamorisse, a lounge and sofa series by CMP Design, characterised by 'the contrast between the sober shape of the supporting frame and the rich enveloping soft cushions.' Paired with Buddy tables and Anemos by Pio & Tito Toso, the setting evokes a lush, open-air environment.
Another key introduction is Griante, Pedrali's first wooden chair designed specifically for outdoor use, crafted from FSC®-certified Iroko or ash wood. The collection includes chair, armchair and lounge versions. Nearby, the Blume Sideboard by Sebastian Herkner brings elegant versatility to transitional spaces.
The journey continues through rooms showcasing Jeff by Patrick Norguet, new modular sofa components designed for compact living, as well as the Rizz table, Héra Soft, Ila, and Coney collections, the latter offering "functionality, comfort and a highly graphical visual impact.
At the heart of the experience lies the Pedrali Materials Library, an immersive installation where "textures shift, and colours evolve, creating a constantly changing atmosphere," all under the ambient glow of Filicudi lamps.
Finally, in a central courtyard, the Nemea collection—ten years after its debut—is reborn in American walnut and now features seating options in cellulose rope or upholstered finishes.
Pedrali continues to express its commitment to "100% Made in Italy" excellence, celebrating the 20th anniversary of its wooden furniture unit in Manzano, and reaffirming its leadership in contemporary design with a bold, architectural vision.
