The year has begun on a positive note for a German kitchen manufacturer, which has reported a 4.5% year-on-year increase in sales for the first quarter of 2025. The growth has been primarily driven by a 7% rise in incoming orders, indicating a strong demand for its product range.
Rotpunkt, the company behind the figures, noted significant growth across several key European markets including Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Scandinavia. It also highlighted a "noticeable increase" in orders from the British Isles, which are now reported to be "above average".
To maintain momentum in the UK, Rotpunkt has confirmed it will return to the kbb Birmingham trade show in March 2026, where it will serve as an Entrance Sponsor for one of the event's four main halls.
Commenting on the company's marketing strategy, managing director of sales and marketing Sven Herden said trade shows remain vital: 'Hausmesse, our in-house exhibition in September, is our most important opportunity to showcase new innovations to our trade customers.' He added that UK partners would again be invited to exclusive dealer trips this autumn to gain product training and first-hand experience of new offerings.
Separately, Rotpunkt recently invested over €50 million into expanding its facilities at its headquarters in Bünde, Germany. The company stated this investment would enhance overall efficiency and improve its product portfolio for customers.
