Cobra Art Company experiences strong start to 2025

Mike van Rijswijk jr.: 'Able to enter into great collaborations despite challenges'

The first months of 2025 have been extraordinarily successful for Cobra Art Company. The internationally operating art wholesaler and distributor proudly participated in the prestigious Maison et Objet fair in Paris, where their exclusive collections of photos on plexiglass, paintings, sculptures, and objects were received with great enthusiasm.

'Our innovative techniques and unique artworks attracted a lot of interest at the fair,' says Mike van Rijswijk Jr. (see photo left) from Cobra Art Company. 'Despite some challenges in the market, we received positive feedback and were able to establish beautiful new collaborations. This strengthens us in our position as a leading player in the international art world.'

Future Plans

For the rest of 2025, Cobra Art Company is fully committed to digital innovation. 'We will soon launch a completely revamped website to better serve our customers,' says Van Rijswijk Jr. At the same time, the company is expanding its collaborations with talented artists from the Netherlands and Belgium and is continually seeking new creative partners.

During Maison et Objet, a new product was also presented: mixed media prints, an innovative combination of prints on dibond with a striking 3D effect. 'The introduction in Paris was a great success and confirms that we are heading in the right direction with our product development,' he says.

Changing Consumer Preferences
Cobra Art Company has been active in the interior industry for over 40 years and knows better than anyone how to respond to changing consumer preferences. 'This year, we see a clear preference for calm, neutral colours and functional design,' explains Van Rijswijk Jr. 'We release new collections twice a year, and through our international collaborations and own photoshoots, we can not only follow trends but also help shape them.'

International Markets
As a wholesaler active in more than twenty countries, Cobra Art Company also closely monitors international trade developments. 'We see that stricter import tariffs and regulations from America can impact the European market,' explains Van Rijswijk Jr. 'That's why we have structured our logistics processes and pricing strategies to respond flexibly, without compromising on quality or added value for our customers.'
