IKEA Retail Polska will open its twelfth store in Poland in 2025, continuing its regional expansion with a new location in Bielsko-Biała. The store will be situated in CH Gemini Park and is part of the company's strategy to make its offer "affordable and accessible" to a broad customer base.
The new store will be a compact retail format with approximately 1,500 m² of commercial space. Despite its smaller size, it will provide the full range of IKEA services, including inspirational displays, immediate purchase options for around 1,000 products, and access to the entire IKEA assortment through home delivery or collection from the IKEA Order Collection Point on ul. Piekarska 130.
Małgorzata Bochenek, Country Business Development and Digital Manager at IKEA Retail Poland, stated that the company is responding to evolving customer needs and shopping habits. She noted that convenience is increasingly important and highlighted IKEA's commitment to an "omnichannel strategy" that integrates digital and physical experiences. According to Bochenek, the new store is designed to "inspire, provide ideas and practical solutions" while blending online and offline services.
IKEA has had a presence in Bielsko-Biała for over three years through a Planning and Ordering Studio, which will close following the new store's launch. This move builds on IKEA's long-standing engagement in Silesia, where the Katowice store recently marked its 25th anniversary.
This latest development reflects IKEA's continued investment in flexible retail formats and customer-centric solutions across Poland.
