B&Q has officially opened a new store in Altrincham, Manchester, marking the first of eight new locations set to launch across April and May. This expansion follows the company's acquisition of eight former Homebase stores earlier in the year.
The Altrincham branch offers over 16,000 home improvement products and includes a dedicated TradePoint counter tailored for trade professionals. Additional services at the store include timber cutting, Valspar paint mixing, and a garden centre stocked with outdoor plants and gardening equipment.
Customers can also benefit from "click and collect" services, with collection available from as little as 15 minutes after ordering. Thousands more products are available for next-day click and collect.
The next stores scheduled to open are Worcester on 15 April, Royal Leamington Spa on 16 April, and Biggleswade on 17 April.
