BoConcept builds resilience in a shifting global market

BoConcept has reported a solid performance for the 2024/2025 financial year despite global economic challenges. The Danish designer furniture brand posted an EBITDA of 172 million Danish kroner (over €23 million) and limited its revenue decline to 2%, reaching 1.247 billion kroner (around €167 million).

Growth in markets such as Japan, Australia and Korea helped offset weaker performance in Europe and the United States. The company credited its results to "effective management, strategic investments and strong franchise partnerships", as well as growth in its B2B segment and enhanced store concepts.

A key highlight of the year was the appointment of international model and entrepreneur Helena Christensen as global artistic director, marking what the company described as the start of "a new creative era" in design and product development.

CEO Mikael Kruse Jensen said the performance "laid solid foundations for future growth", with the company expecting stable results in the coming year despite geopolitical and economic uncertainties. Plans to improve operational efficiency and expand in B2B markets are expected to drive slight EBITDA growth, reinforcing BoConcept's confidence in its "resilient" business model.
