Following Trends Up West 2025, 68 per cent of participants announced their intention to exhibit again in 2026. And although there are still ten months to go until the 8th edition, many companies are already turning words into action, with the exhibitor list growing by the day. Established brands such as Gift Company, Good Old Friends and Chic Mic have confirmed their participation, as well as newcomers like Candle Factory and Vidroflor. In addition, the organisers are receiving numerous new enquiries, showing that interest is now extending well beyond the existing circle of exhibitors. As a result, the number of registered exhibitors has already reached triple digits. The objective is clear: the Trends Up West community, both exhibitors and visitors, is set to grow even further in 2026.

Proven concept at a fair price
The 2026 edition will take place from 27 to 29 June at Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf, once again securing pole position among trade fairs for the second half of the year and the early 2027 season. The familiar event spaces – Kaltstahlhalle, Alte Schmiedehalle, and the Wasserturmhalle (for catering) – will again be used. Exhibitors benefit from an early bird rate of €130 per square metre until 30 November 2025; thereafter, the standard price will be €140 per square metre. The organiser team has set itself an ambitious target: despite economic headwinds, the 2026 event aims to maintain its strong showing of 300 exhibitors and 450 brands.
Summery atmosphere and a unique trade fair experience
"There was once again a fantastic, summery atmosphere at Areal Böhler this year, filled with trend highlights and inspirational zones. We continue to beat the drum to make sure more and more visitors experience this event live and feel the difference from conventional trade fairs. Trends Up West is different – and will remain different," says Willo Blome (blomus), speaking on behalf of the organiser trio alongside Florian Burghard (sompex) and Marco Hübecker (fleur ami).
High-level service continues
To ensure visitor satisfaction remains just as high in 2026 – with 95 per cent of attendees rating the last edition as "very good" – the proven service package will continue. This includes free parking (subject to availability), on-site security, a rotating selection of snacks, coffee specialities and infused water. The ticketing system also remains attractive: early registrants can benefit from a discounted early bird offer. On top of this, the ticket shop will be further improved to make the registration process even more seamless. Partner hotels will once again offer special booking conditions.
Foundations for 2026 firmly in place
"We're laying the groundwork early for a successful 2026 edition and are continuously developing the show. We're reaching out to potential exhibitors in a targeted way, and doing everything we can to attract and inspire visitors. Whether it's the heat, school holidays or other reasons; business is just more fun with us. We don't want anyone to say they didn't hear about this event," says project lead Christian Kasch.
To support this goal, the Trends Up West team is intensifying its digital communication efforts, through newsletters and regular posts on Instagram and LinkedIn. During the 2025 show alone, these activities generated over half a million views. As early summer approaches, the message is clear: Let it grow, let it grow, let it grow!
