Shaw thanked key colleagues, stating the success would not have been possible without their contributions. He said he is looking forward to a break, including spending time with family, cycling, and walking his dog.
Under Shaw's leadership, Laminam has also made sustainability strides, reportedly reducing CO2 emissions by 9% per square metre of product and converting its Italian production facilities to run entirely on renewable electricity. The company claims 100% raw material recovery during production.
A successor is expected to take the helm as Laminam continues its focus on innovation and environmental responsibility.
