"For small companies, financing innovation in uncertain times is a particular challenge. It gives us the opportunity to realise new products together with our customers," said co-founder Jan-Willem van den Bosch.
The campaign aims to raise €9,500 for the first production run, with around 26% already funded. The campaign runs until 31 October 2025. If successful, production will begin immediately after its conclusion, with the first chairs scheduled for delivery before Christmas 2025.
Founded in Munich in 2015, One House stands for Dutch design, 100% production in Germany, and an independent, sustainable business model. The company focuses on timeless furniture that combines design, functionality and craftsmanship.
The new Maatje Lounge Chair embodies this ethos, balancing visual lightness with structural stability, and combining clean lines with soft forms. It has been designed for a wide range of settings, from private living spaces to hotels, lounges and waiting areas. Supporters of the crowdfunding campaign can pre-order the chair and receive special rewards depending on their level of contribution.
