The National Bed Federation (NBF) celebrated excellence across the UK and Irish bed sector at the 2025 Bed Industry Awards, held on 23 September at the Bed Show gala dinner in Telford. Hosted by broadcaster Vernon Kay, the awards recognised outstanding achievements in bed manufacturing, component supply, and retail. An independent panel of judges evaluated finalists from NBF members and supporting bed retailers.

This year's NBF member awards winners included:
- Bed Product of the Year: Elevate Edison Luxury Plush mattress by Sealy UK
- Component Product of the Year: Platinum Q by John Cotton Nonwovens
- Bed Manufacturer of the Year: Harrison Spinks
- Supplier of the Year: The Vita Group
Retail awards winners were:
- National Bed Retailer of the Year: Bensons for Beds
- Online Bed Retailer of the Year: MattressNextDay
- Medium NBF Retail Champion of the Year: Mattressman
- Small NBF Retail Champion of the Year: The M6 Bed Warehouse
Tean Dallaway, NBF president, praised the winners: "Now in their 16th year, the NBF Bed Industry Awards remain a valuable opportunity to recognise the stand-out companies in the sector who have gone above and beyond over the past year. Congratulations to all the worthy winners and finalists."
Harrison Spinks was awarded Bed Manufacturer of the Year for the second consecutive year, impressing judges with its strong performance across all criteria and its move to transfer 51% ownership to an Employee Ownership Trust. The finalists in this category were Shire Beds and Silentnight.
The Vita Group, celebrating 75 years in business, was named Supplier of the Year for innovative solutions and sustainability initiatives in a sector not traditionally associated with environmental stewardship. Finalists included Fotex and John Cotton Nonwovens.
Sealy UK's Elevate Edison Luxury Plush mattress took Bed Product of the Year, praised for its enhanced comfort and customer-focused design without increasing price points. Finalists were Relyon's Carrisbrook Zipped Removable Topper and Silentnight Beds' UltraGel Cool-to-Touch 3000.
John Cotton Nonwovens won Component Product of the Year for its Platinum Q, a polyester-based quiltable top layer balancing resilience and comfort. Finalists included Boyteks and Carpenter.
In retail categories, Bensons for Beds claimed National Bed Retailer of the Year with innovative branding, a +41% RoI increase, and a bold influencer campaign. MattressNextDay won Online Bed Retailer of the Year for the third time, driven by strong financial results, website usability, and digital initiatives including a Brand Ambassador Programme and sustainability campaigns.
Mattressman earned Medium NBF Retail Champion of the Year, showcasing strong national TV campaign results, rebranding, staff investment, and impressive financial growth. The M6 Bed Warehouse took Small NBF Retail Champion of the Year, excelling through mattress care guides, recycling programs, and community partnerships.
Judges for the awards came from across the industry, including representatives from Sealy UK, Propaganda, Interiors Monthly, and the British Furniture Confederation.
