Companies, research institutes, and universities are invited to submit entries for the Techtextil Innovation Award and the Texprocess Innovation Award by 15 December 2025. Winners will gain international visibility and benefit from the reputation of the leading trade fairs, which take place from 21 to 24 April 2026 in Frankfurt.

The awards recognise cutting-edge developments in technical textiles, nonwovens, and textile processing, including AI applications, sustainable approaches, and new production methods. Previous winners have showcased innovations such as recyclable fibre composites for aviation, self-cooling façade textiles, and 4D body-scanning measurement methods.
Applications are free and eligible for products launched within the past two years or nearing market introduction. Submissions will be evaluated by expert juries on innovation, market potential, sustainability, material choice, and technical quality. Techtextil categories include new concepts, materials, applications, products, chemicals, recycling technologies, and digitalisation solutions, while Texprocess awards focus on economic and ecological quality, digitalisation, and quality improvement.
The winning innovations will be formally presented on the opening day of the trade fair. Interested parties can submit applications via the official Techtextil and Texprocess websites.
