B&Q has appointed GXO Logistics to manage its newly acquired 375,000 sq ft distribution hub at Park Farm, Wellingborough, ending a 30-year logistics partnership with PJH Group. The move is part of a broader revamp of the retailer's logistics network and bathrooms fulfilment services.

The new arrangement will allow B&Q to bring sourcing for its bathrooms category inhouse from the second half of 2026, integrate customer order management, and centralise warehousing at the distribution hub. Existing delivery services will continue to service both stores and homes, while PJH will remain a supplier.
B&Q supply and logistics director Amelie Gallichan-Todd said the changes aim to "improve customer experience" and "simplify processes, manage costs responsibly, and prioritise investment in meeting changing customer needs." She added that the new hub is "well located and suited for the distribution needs of our bathrooms category."
The announcement follows plans to cut more than 650 jobs in September as part of a strategy to streamline retail operations. B&Q's owner, Kingfisher, has also upgraded full-year guidance after a strong first half.
